'Lost in the Sauce'

with Chef Gerry Beaney

.'Lost in the Sauce' is a Cooking program that is taped in Westboro, Mass. The show has been playing for over 9 years with Chef Gerry Beaney cooking some fantastic food for the ever growing audience of viewers. The Chef cooks in a French Provincial  inspired style with sautés, braising, searing, and sauces. There is also a wide variety of family comfort meals, soups, salads, sandwiches, and many brunch selections that are prepared in the 30 minute cable show.
Chef Beaney has been dubbed - "the chef for the common man".. in news articles. He prepares all his food in front of the camera from raw goods purchased at the local grocery store. He wants to prepare a meal like anyone would be doing at home, so viewers can feel confident trying out the recipe at home themselves. The show also features Gerry singing and playing a self-penned food song on his guitar occasionally, and every show ends with his trademark food poem. 'Lost in the Sauce' is an all around good time for anyone who likes great food and likes to laugh. Check out the show in your area -See Schedule.

COOKING TIP:
TIME TO FIRE UP THOSE GRILLS AGAIN! MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THE VALVE TUBES WHERE THE GAS BECOMES FLAME. IF YOU USE A LOT OF MARINATE AND B-B-Q SAUCE (like I  do), THESE HOLES CAN BECOME CLOGGED AND FORCE GAS OUT THE UNCLOGGED TUBES, WHICH CAUSE YOUR GRILL TO COOK UNEVENLY AND CREATE FLARE-UPS. TRY USING AN OLD TOOTHBRUSH WITH WARM SOAPY WATER TO CLEAN THE TUBES, THEN FIRE UP THE GRILL AND CLOSE THE LID TO DRY.
