Westboro

Cheng-Du Restaurant

Worcester Turnpike
Westboro, MA.  508-366-7489

* Best Chinese food I have ever eaten. The quality has been the same for the 13 years I have eaten there. Anything you eat you will thoroughly enjoy. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping here, you won't be disappointed.
Dining Tip: Try the 'Chicken and Phoenix'. Just a little spicy, great sauce. Eat it there, don't take out.

J.P.'s Pub
Westmeadow Plaza
Westboro, MA

* Excellent pub, great food, even better prices. Friendly people, fantastic service, lots of local patrons. Get there early.
Dining Tip:
Most of the time there is a wait for dinner. Plan on leaving your name and hanging out at the bar for some conversation and a beverage.

Arturo's
East Main Street
Westboro, MA

*This place feels great right when you open the door. The food is great, the service excellent, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. There is a reason that Arturo's has been in business for so long; the food is unique, tasty, and consistent for many years.
Dining Tip: Ask your server to recommend an  Italian after-dinner sparkling wine. It is a perfect way to cap off an excellent Italian meal.

South Street Diner
South Street
Westboro, MA

*What a great place to eat in the center of town. Home cooked meals at a reasonable price, great specials, and the best breakfast in town - Don't believe every poll you read! The cozy feeling inside with a nice staff, excellent chef, and great food make this place a winner in my book. Try having dinner there on the only 2 nights they are open - Thursday and Friday.

Dining Tip: Order anything that comes with the hollandaise sauce. Great sauce -little lemon- lotta love.

Worcester

One Eleven Chop House
111 Shrewsbury Street
Worcester, MA
*
Best Steak House in Worcester County, hands down! This 4 Star eatery has the feel of the old New York or Chicago steak houses. The spacious dining room has rich, dark woods in a comfortable setting, with a bustle of servers dressed in white, accommodating your every need. The signature dish is a mushroom stuffed tenderloin of beef  in a bordelaise sauce with a chive and apple-smoked bacon mashed potato, topped with asparagus. - To die for!
Dining Tip: Make sure to order the house salad - A 1/4 wedge of iceberg with blue cheese and stilton- excellent starter!

The Sole Proprietor
118 Highland Avenue
Worcester, MA

Excellent seafood restaurant. Fish is very fresh and always available. Nice atmosphere, great service, huge oysters. It can get crowded, but well worth the wait.
Any fish they serve is great, but I am partial to the Halibut. You just don't find Halibut that is so perfect anywhere else!

Dining Tip: You can also sit at the bar and order from a special menu, just for bar patrons, which they cook right there at the bar!
